Sibley Chamber Annual Events:

May: 5

Go Run, Go Play, Go Fish. A benefit for Hope Haven.

8:30 am

• 4-person Road/Bike Relay Race for 10 miles (2-10 mile bike legs and 2-five mile running legs).

  • The cycling course will be on a 10 mile out and back course with rolling hills on black top roads. The running course will be a 5-mile loop with a few hills on gravel and black top roads.

  • Entry fee is $120 if registered prior to April 25 or $140 after.

  • There will be four divisions: Men’s division, Women’s division, Co-ed Division, and a High School Division.

  • Registration will be at Sibley’s Central Park from 7:15-8:15 am.

11:00 am to 3:00 pm

• Activities in Sibley’s Central Park will include

  • The Bait Shop Food Stand

  • A fishing Demonstration by the Bass Club

  •  Fish Tales The Storyteller

  •  “Go Fish” Card Tournament

  • Inflatable and Carnival Games.

3:30 pm

• Concert featuring “Go Fish” at the Sibley-Ocheyedan Baseball Field, located behind the Sibley-Ocheyedan High School Complex.

  • Tickets are available for $15.

Pride Picnic:

• Sibley’s Pride & Involvement Committee’s Free Picnic in Sibley’s Central Park from 5-7 pm.

  • Local entertainment throughout the evening

  • Annual Chili and Salsa Cook-Off

  • McCallum Museum will be open

  • Local Civic organizations displaying their services.

• Culpepper- Merriweather Circus: Performances will be at 5:00 and 7:30 pm at the Osceola County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $7 for adults and $ 5 for children 12 and younger in advance or $9 for adults and $7 for children 12 and younger at the door.

Good Ole Summertime Celebration

• Friday: 4:30 pm

  • There will be activities and food in Sibley’s Central Park and Robinson Park. Local talent will be
    performing.

• Friday: 7:00 pm

  • There will be a free community swim at the City Swimming Pool located next to Robinson Park.

  • Dusk The “Spirit of America” Fireworks and Laser Light Show will be starting at the S-O High School Football Field. Cost for the Laser Light Show is
    $5 per person.

• Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

  •  Activities, Crafters, and Food in Sibley’s Central Park.

• Saturday: 5:30 pm

  • The Good Ole Summertime Parade
